VT 116/Hinesburg Road Culvert Replacement

The Vermont Agency of Transportation in conjunction with CCS Constructors, Inc. will begin the culvert replacement on VT Route 116/Hinesburg Road at Potash Brook.  The anticipated start date June 05, 2017 with a completion date of September 01, 2017.

This project will cause Hinesburg Road/VT Route 116 to be closed to thru traffic between Williston Road and Kennedy Drive.  All abutting side roads/driveways will be accessible at all times.

VT 116/Hinesburg Road Culvert Replacement

The Vermont Agency of Transportation in conjunction with CCS Constructors, Inc. will begin the culvert replacement on VT Route 116/Hinesburg Road at Potash Brook.  The anticipated start date June 05, 2017 with a completion date of September 01, 2017.

This project will cause Hinesburg Road/VT Route 116 to be closed to thru traffic between Williston Road and Kennedy Drive beginning in mid to late June 2017.  Pedestrians/bicycles will still have the ability to cross the construction site via a temporary bridge.

 


Hinesburg Road/VT 116 between Williston Road and Kennedy Drive remains closed to thru traffic for the duration of the project and motorists to follow the signed detour.  

All driveways and side roads remain accessible.  

All pedestrians and bicyclists continue to have access thru the construction zone.


 

The following is the anticipated schedule on VT Route 116/Hinesburg Road for the week beginning July 17, 2017.

Tuesday – July 18:

  • VT Route 116 will be closed to thru traffic for the duration of the project and work will commence.
  • Construction activities throughout the week.

The following is the anticipated schedule on VT Route 116/Hinesburg Road for the week beginning tomorrow, July 21, 2017.

Saturday, Monday thru Friday:

  • VT Route 116 remains closed to thru traffic as work continues on the replacement of the culvert.

 

We ask motorists to slow down. If you miss the detour signs and reach the road closure use caution when turning around on the side streets. There are children at play and you are in a residential area.
