ROCKINGHAM, VT BRIDGES I-91

rockinghamThe Vermont Agency of Transportation in conjunction with the design/build team of Reed & Reed, Inc. will complete bridge replacement on the I-91 bridges #24S & 24N over the Williams River in Rockingham, VT. This project has an anticipated completion date of June 15, 2020.

I-91 NORTHBOUND & SOUTHBOUND ARE REDUCED TO ONE LANE WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE.


I-91 NORTHBOUND MOTORISTS SHOULD BE AWARE OF MERGING RAMP TRAFFIC ENTERING THE ROADWAY! 

PLEASE USE CAUTION!

Below is the anticipated construction activities for the week beginning January 22, 2018:

I-91 Northbound bridge activities:

Monday thru Friday: 

  • Begin work on Pier 1 shaft
  • Continue work on Pier 2 footing
  • Continue pile driving at Pier 3
  • Continue pile driving at Abutment 2
  • Limited truck traffic on Golden Hill Road

 


Below is the anticipated construction activities for the week beginning January 15, 2018:

I-91 northbound bridge activities:

Monday thru Friday – Daytime:

  • Continue work on Pier 1 footing.
  • Continue work on Pier 2
  • Begin pile driving at Pier 3
  • Begin pile driving at Abutment 2
  • Limited truck traffic on Golden Hill Road

The posted speed limit within the construction zone will be reduced to 55mph and will be strictly enforced.

We ask motorists to use extreme caution as the safety of the workers along with themselves is of the utmost importance.
