Below is the anticipated construction activities for the week beginning May 07, 2018:

I-91 northbound bridge activities:

Monday thru Friday – Daytime:

  • Continue installing girder erection support tower on Pier 1
  • Install Pier 3 cap forms and finish backfilling cofferdam
  • Continue constructing Abutment 1 footings
  • Continued work on Abutment 2 support walls
  • Truck traffic on Golden Hill Road

 

The posted speed limit within the construction zone will be reduced to 55mph and will be strictly enforced.

We ask motorists to use extreme caution as the safety of the workers along with themselves is of the utmost importance.
