VT 117 – July 24, 2018

The anticipated work schedule is as follows:
• Continued shoulder cleanup work from the Essex/Jericho town line working towards Tiffany Lane.
• Continued excavation work between VT 289 and Greenfield Road to remove unsuitable material from roadway.
 
Continued roadway maintenance as needed.
 
SLOW DOWN FOR ROUGH ROAD CONDITIONS!
EXPECT DELAYS DURING PEAK HOURS!

The anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Monday, July 22, 2018 on VT 117:

Monday thru Friday:

  • Continue roadway excavation in various areas between Tiffany Lane to Sand Hill Road.
  • Begin reclaiming the roadway from the Essex/Jericho Town line proceeding north. Reclaim takes 10″ of the road surface and basically rototills it and places it back as a gravel surface, recycling the existing material.
  • ROADWAY MAINTENANCE THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT!

 Motorists please be aware that the roadway surface will be rough for a duration of time – please drive slowly!   

Roadway maintenance will be ongoing, as needed.    

Commuting motorists should seek alternate routes.  Expect delays during peak hours!

VT 117 – July 20, 2018

The anticipated work schedule is as follows:
• Continued guardrail set back work between Sand Hill Road and Tiffany Lane.
• Continued excavation work between Tiffany Lane and VT 289 to remove unsuitable material from roadway.
 
Continued roadway maintenance as needed.

The following is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Monday, July 22, 2018.  

 Monday thru Sunday:

  • Completion of the roadway approaches to the bridge.
  • Paving of the bridge deck
  • Installation of bridge rail & guardrail

For the week beginning Monday, July 23, 2018:

I-91 northbound bridge activities:

 Monday thru Friday:

 •  Continued preparation work on the set girders to include concrete pours.

 ALL ROLLING ROAD BLOCKS ARE COMPLETE AT THIS TIME.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ENCOUNTER ANY CONSTRUCTION DELAYS.

The following is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Monday,  July 23, 2018:

Monday thru Friday:

  • Continued sign installation and miscellaneous shoulder work throughout the project.

 The culvert work scheduled has been postponed until further notification.

 Motorists should expect minor delays with traffic control present.

The anticipated work schedule is as follows:
• Continued guardrail set back work between Sand Hill Road and the Essex/Jericho Town line.
• Begin roadway excavation between Tiffany Lane and Pinewood Drive.
 
Continued roadway maintenance as needed.

• Continued guardrail set back work between Sand Hill Road and the Essex/Jericho Town line.
• Continued underdrain work between Tiffany Lane and VT 289.
 
Continued roadway maintenance as needed.

VT 117 – July 17, 2018:

• Continued guardrail set back work between Sand Hill Road and the Essex/Jericho Town line.
• Weather permitting, Continued underdrain work between Tiffany Lane and VT 289.
• If rain, structure adjustment work between Tiffany Lane and VT 289.
Contractor will continue roadway maintenance as needed.
 
SLOW DOWN AND EXPECT DELAYS DURING PEAK HOURS.

  • Continue installing underdrain from Tiffany Lane to Sand Hill Road.
  • Begin culvert work from Tiffany Lane to Sand Hill Road.
  • ROADWAY MAINTENANCE THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT!

Motorists please be aware that the roadway surface will be rough for a duration of time.  Crews will keep up with the maintenance to the best of their ability.  Drive slowly!
