The following is an update of the construction to take place for the week beginning Monday, August 03, 2020.
Southbound I-91 bridge activities resume with limited personnel.
Monday through Friday- 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
- Bridge deck work to continue including installing rebar
- Continue work on the abutments to include southbound concrete placement
- Maintenance of traffic control devices continues
NARROW LANES – REDUCED SPEEDS – USE CAUTION!
Please note the Vermont State Police will be setting up radar within the construction zone. Follow the posted speed limit.

- Placement of concrete and other work at the northbound abutment
- Relocation of various cranes between I-91 decking and the construction yard on Golden Hill Road
- Maintenance of traffic control devices continues

The following is an update of the construction to take place for the week beginning Sunday, July 12, 2020.
Southbound I-91 bridge activities resume with limited personnel.
Sunday through Friday- 24 hours/day:
- Bridge deck work to continue
- Placement of concrete and other work at the northbound abutment
- Tree branch trimming within the construction zone on I-91
- Maintenance of traffic control devices continues

Overhangs and stay in place forms being installed in span #4, north end of bridge near abutment
NB abutment post tension anchors & caps encapsulated in epoxy followed by an elastomeric coating

Grinding and welding of angles for the”stay in place” forms in span 4 near abutment 2.
Prepping surfaces on girder ends for epoxy pour-back to protect post tension grout caps/anchor ends and building forms.
