The following is the anticipated daytime work schedule for the week beginning Monday, September 16, 2019.
Monday through Friday – 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.:
- Installation of the new traffic signal at James Brown Drive intersection
- Continue shaping & ditch cleanup after nighttime excavation work
Motorists should have minimal affect by this work. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Pedestrians will be detoured around the work area.
Monday through Thursday – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.:
- Continue widening of the east side of Route 2A.
Traffic control will be present allowing for one-lane of alternating traffic within the work area. Motorists should plan for delays.
Please use caution while traveling thru the work zone.

The following is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Saturday, September 14, 2019
Southbound I-91 bridge activities:
Saturday, Monday through Friday:
- Continue forming and placing Pier 3 cap
- Continue work on Pier 2 shaft
- Work continues at the northbound abutment (#2) approach
- Work continues on the southbound abutment (#1) approach
- Continue demolition of the existing southbound Pier’s 2 and 3
- Continue work at the new Pier 1
- Continue maintenance of traffic control devises.

- Weather permitting, continued paving on 9/11/19 in the eastbound lane from Bradley Bow Road proceeding east to the end – Route 2 intersection. We are expecting motorists to encounter extended delays – plan accordingly!
