For the week beginning Monday, September 17, 2018:
Monday: No work scheduled
Tuesday thru Friday:
- Prepping side roads and driveway tie-ins in preparation of final paving from Bristol proceeding south to the end of the project limits in Middlebury.
Motorists should expect delays as traffic control will be present allowing for one lane of alternating traffic within the construction areas.
The anticipated work schedule is as follows:
Motorists should expect long delays between 2pm & 7pm between N. Williston Road and Sand Hill Road
- Weather permitting, continued installation of cold mix between the Essex/Jericho town line and Sand Hill Road.
- Shoulder clean up and ditch work continues between Valley View Drive and Tiffany Lane.
MOTORISTS PLEASE USE CAUTION WHILE TRAVELING THRU THE WORK ZONE AND DRIVE SLOW!
Commuting motorists should seek alternate routes. Expect delays during peak hours!

- Continued underdrain and slope stabilization work between Barber Farm Road and the Jericho/Richmond town line.
- Shoulder cleanup between VT-289 and Tiffany Lane.
Traffic control is present allowing for one lane of alternating travel.
USE CAUTION – DRIVE SLOW!
The following is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Monday, September 10, 2018:
Monday and Tuesday:
- Complete installation of construction signage.
Wednesday:
- Tree removal on the east side of Route 2A between Morgan Parkway and Eastview Circle.
Thursday & Friday:
- Excavation for the removal of the tree trunks left on Wednesday in anticipation of tree planting the following week.
Motorists should expect minimal delays and use caution while traveling thru the work zone.
For the week beginning Monday, September 10 , 2018:
I-91 northbound bridge activities:
Monday thru Thursday – 5:00pm to 5:00am:
Monday thru Friday – Daytime:
- Continue installation of bridge deck form work and overhang.
- Continue removal of temporary supports that held the beams and forms.
- Begin forming back wall at the northern abutment.
