For the week beginning Saturday, August 11, 2018:
Saturday:
- Grading the roadway between VT-289 and Tiffany Lane.
Monday & Tuesday:
- Grading continues between Sand Hill Road and the Essex/Jericho Town line.
- Culvert replacement work continues near N. Williston Road.
Wednesday thru Friday:
- 2nd reclaiming phase to begin which includes adding a stabilize agent to the subbase. This agent takes time to cure causing a maximum of 2 hour lane restriction after installation is completed.
Motorists please be aware:
- There will not be a center line from the Essex/Jericho Town line to Tiffany Lane
- Rough roadway surface
- Please drive slowly & use caution!
Commuting motorists should seek alternate routes. Expect delays during peak hours!
The anticipated work activities are as follows:
- Continued removal of unsuitable material and backfilling with new material to proper grade from the Essex/Jericho town line to Sand HIll Road.
- Continued culvert work approximately 500′ from Tiffany Lane.
- Slope stabilization work continues within the Skunk Hollow Road area.
Continued road maintenance as needed.
For the week beginning Monday, August 13, 2018:
Monday thru Wednesday:
- Completion of culvert crossing between Airport Road & VT Route 125 in E. Middlebury – Traffic will be 1 lane thru this area controlled by a traffic signal.
Wednesday thru Friday:
- Weather permitting, final paving to begin at Meehan Road, Bristol proceeding north to the end of the project limits in Starksboro.
The anticipated work activities are as follows:
- Continued removal of unsuitable material and backfilling with new material to proper grade from VT-289 off ramp to Tiffany Lane.
- Continued culvert work near the Essex/Jericho town line.
- Slope stabilization work continues within the Skunk Hollow Road area.
Continued road maintenance as needed.

- Continued culvert work near the Essex/Jericho town line.
- Excavation work continues from VT-289 off ramp to Tiffany Lane.

Monday thru Wednesday:
• Excavation work continues from VT-289 off ramp to Tiffany Lane.
Thursday & Friday:
• Culvert replacement continues between N. Williston Road and the Essex/Jericho Town line.

- Installation of bridge plug joints
- General cleanup work throughout
Motorists should be aware on Monday there will be traffic control allowing for one lane of alternating traffic.
There will be 2 lanes of traffic open during Addison County Field Days.
