*** EXIT 6 SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP ***

Due to the weather conditions this week causing delays in the line striping, the Exit 6 southbound off-ramp will not re-open at the end of the workday today.  Motorists can expect it to be open by noon time tomorrow Friday, June 07, 2019.

  • Weather permitting, begin installation of cold mix from the Essex/Jericho town line to the intersection of Route 2 in Richmond.  Motorists should note that work will first be done between Barber Farm Road and Route 2.
    Motorists can expect long delays.
  • Continue roadway maintenance

** The new northbound bridge is now open to southbound motorists **

Monday thru Friday:

  • Begin removal of bridge rail
  • Continue removal of the existing southbound bridge deck
  • Work continues on SB Piers #2 & #3
  • Continue installation of the southbound traffic control devises
