The following is the anticipated daytime work schedule for the week beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
Tuesday through Friday – 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.:
- Continue work on the signal at the James Brown Drive intersection
- Shaping & ditch cleanup after nighttime excavation work
Motorists should have minimal affect by this work. Two-way traffic will be maintained. Pedestrians will be detoured around the work area.
Tuesday through Friday – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.:
- Widening of the east side of Route 2A begins at the north end of the project
Traffic control will be present allowing for one-lane of alternating traffic within the work area. Motorists should plan for delays.
Please use caution while traveling thru the work zone.
Below is the anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Tuesday, September 03, 2019:
Southbound I-91 bridge activities:
Tuesday through Friday:
- Continue Pier 3 cap forms
- Form and place Pier 2 section 4
- Work continues on each abutment approaches
- Demolition of the existing southbound Pier 3
- Continue work at the new Pier 1
- Continue maintenance of traffic control devises.

Southbound I-91 bridge activities:
Monday through Friday:
- Begin Pier 3 cap forms
- Begin Pier 2 shaft section 4
- Work continues on each abutment approaches
- Demolition of the existing southbound Pier 1
- Begin shoring around the new Pier 1
- Continue maintenance of traffic control devises.

The following is the anticipated daytime work schedule for the week beginning Monday, August 26, 2019.
Monday through Friday (Friday until noon):
- Continue work off the roadway within the James Brown Drive intersection.
- Work begins at Morgan Parkway (off road) to begin the widening of the east side of Route 2A.
Motorists should have minimal affect by this work. Pedestrians will be accommodated.
