For the week beginning, June 18, 2018:
I-91 northbound bridge activities:
Monday thru Friday – Daytime:
I-91 ROLLING ROAD BLOCKS to allow for beam deliveries:
At approx.. 8:00am and 11:00am southbound for approximately 30 minutes
At approx.. 10:00am and 2:00pm northbound* for approximately 30 minutes
Please note rolling road block times could vary due to unforeseen circumstances.
* The northbound rolling road blocks also include the Exit 6 on ramp. Motorists may want to follow the detour on Route 5 to use the Exit 7 on ramp in Springfield to avoid delays. Oversize trucks must follow their permitted route.
- Continued beam erection
- Complete removing forms from Abutment 1
- Cleanup of Abutment 1 and begin backfilling
- Truck traffic on Golden Hill Road
The anticipated work schedule for the week beginning Monday, June 18, 2018:
Monday thru Friday:
- Continued ditch work. Between East Middlebury and Bristol
- Sign installation from the “Lord’s Prayer Rock” to Starksboro
Traffic control will be present allowing for one lane of alternating traffic within the construction packages.
BRIDGE #8 ON VT ROUTE 17 REMAINS CLOSED TO TRAFFIC.
ALL motorists to follow the signed detour.

Monday thru Sunday:
- Structural steel to be set in place as the new precast abutments have been set.

Motorists should expect delays as traffic control will be present allowing for one lane of alternating traffic within the construction areas.
The following is the anticipated schedule on Route 2 for the week beginning Monday, June 11, 2018:
Monday thru Friday: Daytime – 6:30am to 7:00pm
- Drainage work between the Harvest Lane/Blair Park and North Brownell Roads intersections in the westbound lane.
Motorist be aware that we are going to try to maintain 2-way traffic at all times however use caution while traveling thru the construction areas.
