The Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) in conjunction with Cold River Bridges will be installing a temporary bridge on VT Route 11 at Bridge #57 just east of Breezy Hill Road and/or 1.3 miles west of the VT 106 & River Street intersection. This bridge will be installed with a northern shift in the roadway thus taking traffic off the sinking eastbound travel lane. The installation of the temporary bridge should be completed by September 1, 2017.
This VTrans project installing a temporary bridge on VT Route 11 at Bridge #57 just east of Breezy Hill Road and/or 1.3 miles west of the VT 106 & River Street intersection is complete.
We realize that we didn’t meet the targeted completion date of September 1, 2017 so on behalf of VTrans and myself, we would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding during this install of the temporary bridge.
VTrans is actively working on the engineering and design for the culvert replacement. A date is not set for construction however before any construction begins notifications will be sent out.
Thank you.
