VT 117 – October 23, 2018

The anticipated work schedule is as follows:
  • Pot hole patching between Barber Farm Road and the Jericho/Richmond town line.
  • Continued culvert work to continue between Barber Farm Road and the Jericho/Richmond town line.
  • Structure rehabilitation and sidewalk work to continue between VT 289 ramps and Tiffany Lane.
  • Shoulder / ditch work will continue between Sand Hill Road and VT 289.
Traffic control will be present allowing for one lane of alternating traffic through the work zones.  Motorists expect delays!

Monday thru Friday – Daytime:

  • General clean-up work throughout the project limits.

 

Motorists should expect little to no delays in traffic.   Please use caution while traveling thru the work zone.

  • Guardrail work resumes between Sand Hill Road and VT 289 ramps.
  • Structure rehabilitation work to continue between VT 289 ramps and Tiffany Lane.
  • Curb and sidewalk work at Mall Drive at the west end of the project in Essex.
  • Shoulder / ditch work will continue between Sand Hill Road and VT 289.
Traffic control will be present allowing for one lane of alternating traffic through the work zones.  Motorists expect delays!

The work schedule for the week beginning Saturday, October 20, 2018:

Saturday thru Friday:

  • Weather permitting, continued paving from East Middlebury to Bristol.

Wednesday thru Friday:

  • Weather permitting, continued paving abutting driveway tie-ins beginning in East Middlebury and proceeding north to Bristol.

Motorists should expect delays with traffic control present allowing for one lane of alternating traffic within the construction areas.

Rockingham Bridges I-91

I-91 northbound bridge activities:

Monday thru Thursday – 5:00pm to 5:00am
Monday thru Friday – Daytime:

• Complete placing concrete deck segments.
• Complete approach road work up to the approach slab area.
• Continue work on approaches.
• Continue placement of the barrier curb.

Please use caution while traveling thru the work zone.
